Cartecay River Retreat is absolutely heavenly! From the cute little coffee bar, the beautiful home decor (complete with holiday themed decor), the grill, cabinets stocked with dishes, the hot tub on the deck and the fancy wine bottle opener on the counter (very handy), Kim and Joe thought of everything! Honestly, pack light. They have everything you need when you arrive. Coffee on the deck, overlooking the river was the perfect way to start each omorning. We had such a great time over spring break with our best friends and  look forward to returning soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Thank you Joe and Kim of Vacay Rentals For You! We loved staying in your Acworth home this past weekend. The location was so convenient for us with shopping and dining just down the road. The decor was gorgeous (I need your designers #), the rooms so spacious. My grandson loved all of the games available along with PS4. There were so many options for him to safely go outside. It was nice to have all of the house amenities, especially the coffee bar and luxury hair products. I can’t think of anything you might have missed. We look forward to staying again and hope to one day visit one of your other properties.

Best Airbnb we’ve ever been to. The view of the river was amazing. The game room was over the top. Even the adults had a ball playing games. So much attention to detail. Host provided s’mores kit, plenty of kcups, even a snack bin full of goodies which was so nice to have upon arrival. The perfect little getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Kim’s place, it was everything the listing said it would be and more. ESPECIALLY if you are traveling with kids, this is the place you want to be! There was a giant basket of toys, games, stuffed animals, etc. not to mention the pack n play, high chair, and baby bath. For a mom traveling with littles, this was a dream. There were plenty of games for adults as well, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook while we were there and Kim was extremely responsive and easy to get ahold of for our few questions.

My family and I enjoyed the 2024 Labor Day weekend at Kimberly's Lake Sinclair home. It was perfect! The lake and home pictures were current and accurate. The home's features, amenities, space, and layout couldn't have been better for us. My family and I are working professionals, so enjoying our stay was essential to refueling our energy. The home and lake provided us an opportunity to sip coffee while morning fishing, grill and chill over afternoon conversation, and kickback over cold beers while enjoying a picture perfect sunset. Kimberly was always responsive to my text message inquiries during planning and throughout our stay. Since it was College Football kickoff weekend, I texted Kimberly for a local sports bar recommendation to watch the games before checking in. She suggested Pickle Barrel Cafe & Sports Pub in Milledgeville. Great pub experience and excellent service. It was exactly what we needed to start the weekend. Thanks Kimberly - our experience was great!

This home is right on the water and is very well stocked with great amenities. The coffee bar was great and we really enjoyed the screened in porch listening to the river flowing while drinking our coffee. The 3 bedrooms with 3 king beds was awesome! This house is amazing! I could not have asked for a better stay than this. Kimberly has thought of everything, even down to a foam roller for my sore back! This house is one of those special places where you can spend your whole vacation right there and not have to leave the community for anything. The deer eating out of our hands was a special daily ritual that my family and I looked forward to every day. The house was spotless, and we would not hesitate to book a stay here in the future! The property was very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. My family and I were very impressed, thank you.

Our stay was fantastic! Kim was incredibly professional, quick to respond, and always a step ahead. We had a small issue with seasonal Mayflies on the dock, and before we could really even ask, Kim had already arranged for their lawn guy (who was as kind as could be) to take care of it. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need, which was a huge relief as parents traveling with twin infants. We can't recommend this place enough—it’s the perfect getaway!

We travel quite a bit and often use AIRBNB for our family. This was the absolute best place we’ve stayed. It was roomy, clean, peaceful and quiet yet close to whatever we needed. Having all king beds is almost unheard of! The river running behind the house was special! Then there were the special touches. The fire pit, complete with fire wood. The coffee station which was a big hit with my family! There was a basket of individual snacks on the counter as well as all the ingredients to make s’mores at the fire pit. For those of you traveling with small children you’re all set. The unit had a high chair, a pack and play, and child gates to keep the little ones safe. There were also plenty of toys for little ones too! And a big game room for the big kids!! We had a nice relaxing weekend while visiting my family in Elijay!

We loved this house. We were in the area for baseball tournament at Lake Point. The layout was perfect, the kitchen / living area great place for us all to gather for breakfast dinner. We grilled outside one night. Setting close to the lake is beautiful. Very quiet and s tucked away. Only thing was it was mid summer and we didn’t get chance to explore outside or go out in the lake cos too hot we will definitely be back if there are more baseball tournaments in the area.

We enjoyed our stay so much! We spent most of our time while at the house on the screened porch listening to the river. We very much enjoyed the game room and the huge selection of puzzles and games. "The location is amazing. Pictures don’t do it justice. Home sits right on a beautiful river. Spent most of our time on the screen porch watching the river. My husband even caught a little trout right from the bank.

Inside, the home is beautiful - clean, comfortable with everything you could ask for. Loved the coffee hutch - again, absolutely everything there to enjoy coffee or tea made anyway you want. Loved the decor throughout.

The game room was AMAZING - I’ve never seen anything like it. We’d like to return with our grandkids - they would have loved it.

While the home is extremely comfortable and welcoming (even smells good), we spent ALL of our time on the screened porch. Furniture is comfortable and being able to sit in a comfortable space watching and listening to the river is unbeatable!

"We are a family of 7 with kids between the ages of 1 and 17. Every member of our family enjoyed staying here! Very comfortable and we had everything we could have needed and then some! Feeding the deer was definitely top of the list of favorites but we also enjoyed the game room, hot tub, and fire pit. We were in town for a basketball tournament at Lakepoint but couldn’t wait to finish with games to get back to the house to relax. My personal favorite was the screened in porch. Beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. The decor is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re right at home. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. Everything in this place is nice and well taken care of. Zero complaints! I hope that we will have an opportunity to visit again. This has been our favorite place we have ever rented and the host was amazing!"

Me and my significant other escaped for a few days to relax and unwind and let me tell you that Whitetail Hideaway was perfect for that! It was the most gorgeous house! Our favorite part was the hot tub on the back porch! You can even feed the deer from the back yard!! They have the most precious owners and had a small welcome gift for us as well as some snacks!
